Each note is assigned an ordinal number:
c = 1, d = 2, e = 3, f = 4, g = 5, a = 6, h = 7.
Two numerical sequences are created using a random number generator that excludes repetitions.
First sequence (one-line octave): 2, 5, 4, 7, 6, 1, 3.
Second sequence (small octave): 4, 1, 5, 7, 3, 2, 6.
The resulting sequences of notes are played simultaneously. Matched notes (in our case, immediately matched notes “h”) are excluded from both numeric series. The sequences are played again with pauses in place of the crossed out notes. If there are no more matches, the second number row is shifted one cell to the right and the actions are repeated. The algorithm is repeated until then, until the melody is not “self-destruct”.
