The melody was generated based on the image of the maze.
The labyrinth consists of 16 rings, each of which corresponds to one of 16 notes of the scale. The center of the maze is the note C, the outer ring is the note c3. (C, c, g, c1, e1, g1, b1, c2, d2, e2, fis2, g2, as2, b2, h2, c3).
Using the random number generator for each of the rings, the position of the “exit” is determined, which is combined with the “enterance” of the next ring. Walls position is also random. The distance from the entrance to the exit cannot be less than 1/4 of the total length of the ring to avoid being too close enterances and exits. We count the number of cells counterclockwise.
One labyrinth cell corresponds to a quarter note. Each subsequent note begins to sound at the moment of entering the corresponding ring. Notes do not stop sounding at the moment of transition to the next ring, they sound until the wall blocks their further path along the current ring.
